The Raven & The Dove Sweatshirt (Unisex)

This is my humble attempt at creating a symbol that fuses the beautiful duality of the Chinese Yin & Yang with the symbolism of Western Esoteric traditions. The Raven & The Dove represents our terrestrial reality as the place of dualities, where mutually dependent opposites ebb and flow.

The Dove is a nod to Christian roots, where doves symbolize the soul and / or the Holy Spirit. The Raven is a nod to black magic, alchemy, and Norse mythology. (In Norse myth, it is said Odin has two ravens who fly around the world and bring back information to the God, one is called ‘Thought’ and one is called ‘Memory’.)

I hope that reflection on this symbol inspires you to discover your own insights.

This artwork is printed on the well-loved Gildan 18000 Unisex Sweatshirt, a perfect addition to any wardrobe. It has a crew neck, and it’s made from air-jet spun yarn and quarter-turned fabric, which eliminates a center crease, reduces pilling, and gives the sweatshirt a soft, comfortable feel.   • 50% cotton, 50% polyester
  • Fabric weight: 8.0 oz/y² (271.25 g/m²)
  • Pre-shrunk
  • 1×1 athletic rib-knit collar with spandex
  • Air-jet spun yarn with a soft feel and reduced pilling
  • Double-needle stitched collar, shoulders, armholes, cuffs, and hem
  • Quarter-turned to avoid crease down the middle
